Meet DRPR’s 2021 Summer Interns!
Our Team is expanding! We are so excited to introduce our two newest interns this Summer 2021, Mariia Minaieva and Akshay Verma! At DRPR, we are always looking for opportunities to expand and grow, and we couldn’t be any more grateful to welcome these two aspiring PR and social media mavens on board. Together with their help, we seek to assist our clients at the most outstanding level while bringing new ideas and fresh perspectives to the table.
Get to know them better! Read below to learn more about their background, what inspired them to enter the public relations field and ways in which they will assist DRPR clients and community!
Mariia Minaieva
PR & Communications Intern at DRPR
Say hello to Mariia Minaieva. Mariia is a third-year student at Humber College, where she is completing her Public Relations degree. Having prior copywriting experience, Mariia sees PR and Communications as an excellent field to show off her passion for writing and deep interest in the news and media world. As part of the DRPR team, Mariia will operate as a PR & Communications intern, helping out with various tasks in the agency. Reliability, curiosity and friendly nature are assets that she seeks to bring to the work at DRPR. As a keen storyteller, she also hopes to craft compelling stories about brands and creative individuals to amplify their voices. Outside of work, Mariia’s hobbies are stretching, which is an excellent tool for her to unwind and take some rest before breaking into the workday hustle again.
Akshay Verma
PR and Social Media Intern at DRPR
Meet Akshay Verma. He is a second-year student at Durham College, completing his Advanced Diploma in Public Relations. Throughout his studies, Akshay has learned numerous skills such as photography, video editing, Photoshop, InDesign and many more! Akshay’s greatest strengths lie in graphic design, and strategic planning. Outside of work, you can find Akshay working on his fantasy book, together with his short stories and poetry. It is Akshay’s love for writing that led him to the communications field as a profession as it has allowed him to grow his technical and applied skills. At DRPR, Akshay has joined the team as a PR and Social Media Specialist assisting clients with content planning, content calendar creation, graphic design, caption writing, research planning, media list building and much more. Akshay’s favourite hobbies are going out for long walks in the evening and enjoying beautiful sunset sceneries, to inspire and fuel his creativity.
We are super thrilled to have Akshay and Mariia on-board with us helping out with various projects! Both of them have been working diligently to assist our clients better and build meaningful relationships with the community. Keep up with great work Akshay and Mariia!
